Ian and Hannah took me to two amazing wedding venues that are on the Devon and Dorset boarder, first we went to Forde Abbey which is just a fabulous place full of history, amazing gardens and nooks and crannies to cuddle up together in secret. They two where so amazing together, really happy and totally relaxed. When we first met they said they were nervous about being photographed but this photoshoot was just full fun and giggles the whole time we were together. It was a a real pleasure to be asked to be their wedding photographer and I really cant wait for this epic wedding later this year.
After we looked around Forde Abbey we headed a few miles down the road to Axminster to Waycroft Hall, this is tucked away off an old track, but oh my word it is amazing! it is full of old gentry charm, the perfect rustic Idell. It is set up as a wedding party venue, it’s place to really party and totally relax, enjoy yourselves in private amongst the grounds of an old castle.
This PreWedShoot took about two hours. At the same time we made a wet weather plan at each venue, Hannah and Ian got to know me a bit more and saw how I worked. I always go for a recce to a venue with a couple before their wedding as is puts us all at ease; we walk though the wedding venue and make plans, we chat about the whole wedding, and at the same time I am photographing them both, documenting our time together.
Have a great day!
