On Friday I was working at the local pre-school for an annual fundraising photoshoot – I take some creative photographs in the fabulous Somerset countryside and a percentage of the sales go back to Pre School for new books and a toys.
I find this sort of photoshoot such fun as each child’s individual personality is revealed and shines while we have some fun in front of the camera. Some parts of the shoot are styled, but mostly i work quickly alongside the child.
I always have a chat with the children, down on there level, before I even get the camera out, then we have a little story that we make up and while they play out the story out, I am constantly photographing them. This works well for me and the child, as we each know what one another is doing.
Here are a couple of my favorites. [fblike]
