When Aimee first contacted me early last year I knew then that their wedding was going to be something quite special. They talked about creating there own wedding festival, with a heap of bands, lots of food, camping, fire pits, hay bales, DIY Photo Booth, piano in a field and of course a tractor for the Bride to arrive in along with the most bridesmaids I have ever seen, which is sixteen! At the time they had not booked a church or venue but we made plans together. I met up with them for there pre wedding shoot too and we rode around the country side in a 4×4, it was the best time.
Aimee and Rob’s wedding was simply about gathering all there friends and family together to have a really big party. It was a perfectly relaxed day with blue sky, melodies dancing in the summer air and in the distant you could see the shimmering London skyline. We were in our own little wedding world.
Making your wedding into a mini T in the Park or Glasto is no mean feat. These boho gatherings are full of colour and creative DIY wedding details, which takes ages to make and install. Aimee and her team spent the days running up to the wedding on site decorating the marquee with flowers and feathers, making the table decorations plus there was a cake table full of every sort of cake you can imagine. I had the chocolate cake of course and it was delicious! They put lots of photos on the fence to make the word LOVE – so cute! The details were immense and I loved being part of this awesome day.
The wedding film takes you back to relive Aimee and Robs wedding day again and again. Our intention is to tell there story, it naturally unfolded and we captured the delicate interactions, which makes up the story of your family. It’s a whole new family, and this is the first chapter so we hope you sit back, grab your favourite drink and enjoy the start of Aimee and Robs Festival wedding, shall we begin?
